In a significant development, two individuals have been arrested in relation to a spate of burglaries targeting churches in Northamptonshire. These break-ins occurred over a four-month period, from March to June this year, primarily affecting rural communities.

The incidents were reported in the villages of Grendon, Spratton, Brackley, and Guilsborough, where various churches were broken into and several items were stolen.
The suspects, a 33-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, have been taken into custody and subsequently released on bail.
The police continue to investigate these troubling crimes, aiming to bring those responsible to justice and ensure the safety of local religious institutions.
