Dorset Police appeal after Shaftesbury church burglary

A CHURCH office was broken into and three black and grey HP laptops, an LG TV, an Apple TV box, a blue cash tin and a bank card were stolen.

Dorset Police have issued an appeal to the public after Father’s House church on Christy’s Lane in Shaftesbury was burgled.


The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when a man reportedly broke into the office, taking three black and grey HP laptops, an LG TV, an Apple TV box, a blue cash tin and a bank card.


Officers have also discovered that the bank card used at some local shops.


Dorset Police have just released information on the incident, which occurred at around 1.30am on Sunday, August 13.


Police Constable Edward Lewis, of Blandford police, said: “I am continuing to investigate this incident and I am appealing to anyone who has any information about the burglary to please get in touch.


“I would also like to hear from anyone who has come across items matching the description given above being offered for sale in suspicious circumstances.”
